Levenshulme is about four miles south of the city centre on Stockport
Road, a major route to the south of Manchester.
Living in Levenshulme
Levenshulme is a vibrant area with a good mix of housing and diverse
communities.
There's a good range of local shops, restaurants, antiques stores and
services along busy Stockport Road, and a large Asda supermarket in nearby
Longsight.
Public transport is excellent, with regular buses along Stockport Road to
the vibrant city centre, with its employment, leisure and entertainment
facilities. There are regular trains to Manchester and Stockport from
Levenshulme station.
Cringle Fields and Crowcroft park at either end of the area offer green
space and lesiure facilities.
