Homes to rent, homes to buy. Housing options in Manchester.

Not sure if you are registered for rehousing?

You are registered for rehousing if you have, or someone who will be moving with you has:

  • applied for rehousing to a Manchester Housing Register landlord on a paper application form, online, or in a interview with a member of staff; and
  • had a letter that confirms your registration, which includes a rehousing applicant number

The letter usually comes within two or three weeks of you filling in the form. If you have already filled in the form in the last few weeks, please do NOT fill in another one.

Need advice?

Did you fill in a form more than three weeks ago, or are you are still not sure if you are registered?

  • if you live in a home managed by a Manchester Housing Register landlord, contact that landlord for advice
  • if you do NOT live in a home managed by a Manchester Housing Register landlord, contact Manchester Homefinder, 0161 230 2534, for advice
